Rosie Miranda Martínez

Rosie Miranda is a prominent designer and dressmaker from Hermosillo, Sonora; Mexico, which has more than 40 years of experience in the textile industry. She is also the founder, owner, and manager of Miranda’s Fashion Innovation, an alterations store and studio located in Eugene, Oregon.

Her passion for sewing was born at an early age, inheriting her mother’s talent and knowledge, which led her to graduate in Cutting and Confection at the Juan Escutia High School in 1984.

In 1996 she graduated in Haute Couture at the Pedro Contreras Academy, being in charge of the dress of Miss Sonora ’96 for Miss Mexico ’96.

Over the years, she perfected her technique with Beading and Embroidery studies, deciding in 2008 to open Miranda’s Confección, a business that would eventually become Miranda’s Fashion Innovation.

With more than ten years of experience in the USA industry, her achievements include altering Natriana Shorter’s dress for the Miss Oregon 2016 competition (in which she won) and alterations for multi-champion Norah Jeruto, Gold medal at the World Athletics Championships, Oregon 2022.
